How to Add a Family Member in DoorVi
Let the whole family answer the door. Invite a family member from your home in the DoorVi app; they join with a one-time code and their phone rings too when a visitor scans your QR code.
Step by step
- On your home card, tap More.
- Tap Add Member.
- You get a one-time invitation code, valid for 24 hours.
- Tap Share and send the code to your family member.
- They open DoorVi and join with the code or the join link. They appear under Verified Members, and you get a notification that they joined.
Good to know
Every member answers visitor calls on their own phone, so whoever is free can open the door. More members per home are available on premium plans.

How long is the invitation code valid?
The one-time invitation code is valid for 24 hours. If it expires, create a new one from Add Member.
Can I remove a member later?
Yes. Open Add Member and use the delete icon next to the member under Verified Members.
