This license agreement is between you and Doorvi Technologies Private Limited ("Licensor"), governing your use of the DoorVi mobile application. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1 The Application
DoorVi ("Licensed Application") is software that enables visitors to connect with residents or property owners, allowing residents to remotely answer their doors from Apple and Android devices. The application is designed for use on devices running iOS and Android operating systems.
2 Scope of License
- 2.1 — You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the application on Apple or Android devices you own or control. Family Sharing and volume purchasing programs are permitted where applicable.
- 2.2 — This license covers all application updates provided by the Licensor.
- 2.3 — You may not share, redistribute, rent, lend, or otherwise transfer the application to third parties.
- 2.4 — Reverse engineering, decompiling, translating, disassembling, modifying, or creating derivative works of the application is strictly prohibited.
- 2.5 — Copying is permitted only for backup purposes on devices you own. Intellectual property notices must not be removed.
- 2.6 — Violations of these terms may result in prosecution and damages.
- 2.7 — The Licensor reserves the right to modify the application's terms and features at any time.
- 2.8 — You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the application.
3 Technical Requirements
- 3.1 — The Licensor will maintain updates to ensure compatibility with supported firmware and hardware.
- 3.2 — You are solely responsible for verifying that your device meets the application's technical requirements before downloading or using it.
- 3.3 — The Licensor reserves the right to modify technical specifications at any time.
4 Maintenance and Support
- 4.1 — DoorVi is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services. Contact information is available via the App Store listing.
- 4.2 — Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
5 Use of Data
The Licensor will be able to access and adjust your downloaded Licensed Application content and personal information. Access is subject to our Privacy Policy and any applicable data protection laws and legal agreements.
6 User Generated Contributions
When you submit content to the application, you represent and warrant that your contributions:
- Do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Do not contain false, misleading, or defamatory information
- Do not harass, abuse, or harm any individual or group
- Do not include obscene, violent, or sexually explicit material
- Do not exploit or harm minors in any way
- Do not violate applicable laws or regulations
- Do not promote illegal activity or discrimination
- Do not impersonate any person or entity
- Do not contain unsolicited advertising or spam
- Do not introduce malware, viruses, or disruptive code
- Do not infringe rights of privacy or publicity
- Do not violate any applicable laws concerning child protection
- Are not otherwise objectionable or offensive
- Do not link to third-party content that violates these guidelines
7 Contribution License
By submitting content or contributions to DoorVi, you grant the Licensor an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, disclose, sell, publish, and otherwise exploit your contributions for any commercial or non-commercial purpose.
8 Liability
The Licensor accepts no accountability or responsibility for any damages caused by a breach of duties according to applicable law. Users are responsible for ensuring regular data backups using the backup functions provided in the application.
9 Warranty
- 9.1 — The Licensor warrants that the application is free of malware and functions substantially as described at the time of download.
- 9.2 — No warranty applies if the application has been modified or used improperly by the user.
- 9.3 — Defects must be reported to the Licensor within 90 days of discovery.
- 9.4 — The Licensor reserves the right to choose the method of remedy for any warranted defect.
- 9.5 — The App Store may provide refunds to users for non-conforming applications in accordance with its standard policies.
- 9.6 — Entrepreneur claims under warranty expire after 12 months; statutory consumer protections remain unaffected.
10 Product Claims
DoorVi (Doorvi Technologies Private Limited) is solely responsible for addressing any product liability claims, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling consumer protection claims relating to the Licensed Application. Apple is not responsible for any such claims.
11 Legal Compliance
By using the application, you represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country subject to a government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
- You are not listed on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties

13 Termination
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application and destroy all copies, full or partial, in your possession.
14 Third-Party Terms and Beneficiary
The Licensor complies with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using their services. Apple Inc. is designated as a third-party beneficiary of this License Agreement, with the right to enforce its terms against you as a beneficiary.
15 Intellectual Property Rights
DoorVi (Doorvi Technologies Private Limited) is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any intellectual property infringement claims relating to the Licensed Application. Apple bears no responsibility for any such claims.
16 Applicable Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
17 Miscellaneous
- 17.1 — If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent, while the remaining terms continue in full force.
- 17.2 — Any amendments or modifications to these terms must be documented in writing and signed by both parties to be effective.
